Tiger oh Tiger

We heard that Tiger's wife has been interested in taking up golf. However, 2:30am does sound a bit of an odd time to start hitting your Woods.
Ping just offered Elin Nordegren an endorsement contract pushing her own set of drivers. They are marketing them as "clubs you can beat Tiger with."
News travels fast. The Chinese are already making a movie about Tiger Woods' crash.. They are calling it, "Scratching Swede, Lying Tiger."
EA Sports has announced the recall of Tiger Woods 2010 so a new bonus level can be added called "Tiger VS The Driveway". A collector's edition will be sold with a free Wii steering wheel.
What does Tiger Woods have in common with baby seals? They're both clubbed by Scandinavians.
If you made it to work this morning, you have earned the right to say "I can out-drive Tiger Woods."
It has just been reported that Phil Mickelson contacted Tiger's wife, Elin, to pick up some tips on how to beat Tiger.
The police asked Elin how many times she hit him. She replied, "I don't know exactly, but put me down for a 5."
Tiger Woods is so rich that he owns lots of expensive cars. Now he has a hole in one.

Statement from Tiger Woods

As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I'm pretty sore.
This situation is my fault, and it's obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I'm human and I'm not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn't happen again.
This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.
The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.
This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.
This video frame grab (left), provided by Hollywood TV, shows Rachel Uchitel at Los Angeles International Airport November 29, 2009. Uchitel has been identified by tabloid media as having been "telling friends about a jet-set liaison" with golfer Tiger Woods, who pulled out of a golf tournament this week in the latest fall-out from a minor car accident that has left a swirl of mystery and a hint of scandal around the world's top golfer. Uchitel has issued a denial.

Titleist AP1 Irons

The two newest irons from Titleist are the AP1 and AP2; both are aimed at avid golfers, but the AP1 set offers a little more forgiveness while the AP2 are forged irons and are played by some of Titleist's tour staff. More about the AP2 irons comes on the following page.
The Titleist AP1 irons are multi-material, dual-cavity irons geared to provide greater shot control, a higher trajectory and more forgiveness compared to the original AP irons and to the AP2 irons.
Titleist says its engineers studied the sound and vibrations created at impact, and the result is the new "Tuned Feel System." The TFS is a medallion of soft elastomer and aluminum plate intended to improve the feel and sound of the irons.
The AP1 features a thinner face; more weighting in the heel, toe and deeper in the clubhead, with the tungsten nickel material shifted to the sole for more stability and forgiveness.
The short irons in the AP1 set have a shorter face, thinner topline and reduced offset compared to the long and middle irons. The lofts the AP1 set are two degrees stronger than those in the AP2 set.
The Titleist AP1 irons with graphite shafts available at retail begins on Nov. 1, 2009. The AP1 irons will be available in both right- and left-handed models.
The stock steel shaft is a lightweight NS Pro 105T with medium tip and softer midsection; the stock graphite shaft is an Aldila VS Proto-T 75 made exclusively for Titleist. The Titleist Tour Velvet Rubber by Golf Pride is the stock grip. Custom options are available. For more info, visit titleist.com
